The Serenity Difference

I spent more than twenty years in Training and Leadership roles, furthering the skills and development of others.  In addition, my Mother & I opened Steel Magnolia Construction in Wadamalaw Island, SC in 2002, specializing in historic renovations.  When opening Serenity Property Inspections, it was with the intention of combining these two passions.  My ultimate goal is to build homeowner's knowledge about their home and provide a better understanding of how to preserve their investment.  I am a graduate of the Real Estate Inspection Certification Program through Inspection Certification Associates. I am also a graduate of InterNACHI®, with more than 20 certifications.   The InterNACHI® School is the only home inspector school accredited by the national accrediting agency of the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) and is a Member College of the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) of Canada.  I am a Certified Professional Inspector with InterNACHI, a member of Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association and licensed through the State of Florida, License # HI13241.

In 2001,  we were given an opportunity to adopt a wolf pup.  Without adoption, he would have been euthanized.  We spent the next 9 years with one of the smartest, loving and most loyal creatures we've ever met. 

Since Thor's passing in 2010, we have continued to support wolf conservation groups.

We are committed in 2023 to donate $5 for every home inspection we conduct to the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, NY.
